When you’re creating your page corner design, you might be wondering which paper stock to use- and with so many to choose from, it’s not a quick choice! Take a look at our handy guide below, which gives you the pros and cons of the various paper stocks.
Page corners on matt/gloss
All document corners are printed on quality Silk card stock as standard, at 350gsm* for durability. Creating page corner designs on matt/gloss paper stock is a good choice- it provides that ‘business card’ effect and looks professional and polished. Silk and gloss papers have a fine powder bonded to the surface of the paper to give them that shiny effect- and are still recyclable; are an excellent choice for a glossier finish!
Legal corners on recycled/uncoated
This stock has a wide range of gsm (250-450) giving you lots of options for thickness and durability. The main advantage of the recycled/uncoated is that your legal corner will be made from 100 percent recycled paper and is fully recyclable after use, so you’ll be producing fully green page corner designs! The only downside to this stock is that you couldn’t add a glossy finish to it, without adding a laminate (which will make it difficult to recycle).
Paper corners on kraft
Kraft paper is ideal for the eco-conscious page corner designer! Your document corner will be made with fully recycled paper, that can in turn be recycled again after use! Kraft paper is sturdy and eco-friendly and suitable for all your printed document needs. The only downside is a slightly limited range of gsm options- from 280-450, but you’ll still be sure to find the weight you need!
